I Heart Art: Operation Salute!
July 1 – 31, 2017 Every day, our military men and women make sacrifices to make life better for us. At the Y, we know we have a duty to give back and support them through our programs and services for children, adults and families. But we want to do more – and we need your help. Let’s Work Together! We’re collecting donations to fill up back-to-school backpacks for local military kids. Let’s work together to make sure they have plenty of art supplies to keep their creativity flowing all year long. Here’s what they need: • BACKPACKS • Markers • Crayons • Colored pencils • Glue sticks • Construction paper • Watercolor paints • Paintbrushes • Transparent tape • Safety scissors • And more! Bring your donations to any First Coast YMCA location and let’s give our military the salute they deserve! Supplies will also be donated to Youth Development programs at the Y.
